Flat Shank w/Correctional Ported Barrel

The 47PB is a correctional mouthpiece, a ported mouthpiece that collapses onto the outer lip and bars and rotates onto the tongue. The port is narrower than a Level 3 mouthpiece but offers plenty of room for the horse’s tongue to pass under the bit. The angles of the port are rounded, so when the bit collapses and applies two points of pressure on the tongue, the pressure is mild. The port on this mouthpiece is 1 ⅞" high, so it will apply some palate pressure. Sweet Iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation.
